Umbrellas may be stood up in a corner in an entry closet keeping them handy for inclement weather or use them in a coat rack. Bedroom closet organization will need a little more thought especially if your closet is small. There are many different closet organization ideas for small closets. Most closets have shelves above a clothes rack which can hold various items. It is best if loose items can be stored in wardrobe boxes or plastic storage cubes. This adds to the neatness of the closet area and aids when looking for particular items. Seasonal items can best be placed in these storage containers for ease of use and finding.

WARDROBE CLOSETS

If you simply have no more room in your closets look to purchase a wardrobe closet. These handy pieces are great for storing excess clothing and accessories. They also make great guest closets in spare rooms. You can find a cheap wardrobe closet at places like Walmart, Target and Big Lots.

SHOE RACKS

Closet shoe racks can be purchased which hang on the door or sit on the floor. Either of these choices are excellent ways to organize shoes so that they can be easily retrieved. If an over the door closet shoe organizer is used this will free up closet floor space for organizing other items.

If room allows hanging racks can be altered. One end of the closet can use a taller rack allowing for those clothes that hang full length. In the other end of the closet the racks can be altered so that there are two shorter lengths. Shirts, pants and other short items can be hung on these racks.
