Your home should have a multi purpose folding ladder which is a great tool. That’s right, a ladder is a tool and the more you can do with your ladder the more valuable a tool it is because it will save you money and space. You will only need one ladder rather than two or three types of ladders and you will save on space because you need only store one rather than two or more ladders.
You can use it outside to clean your gutters with a gutter scoop when you adjust it to the extension ladder setting. Remember to anchor it in the ground before climbing up.
Never use the last rung on the ladder to stand on. You can fall off because you make the ladder too top heavy, throwing off the center of gravity to a dangerous degree. Even when you use it inside to paint your walls make sure to keep safety first.
Use your folding ladder inside as a step ladder. Adjust it so it looks like an inverted letter v. Again do not step on the last rung of the ladder because you can lose your balance and fall. This type of ladder has an advantage over other step ladders because there are steps on both sides of the ladder so you do not have to turn it around when you reach the end of the wall.
You can use it to paint the outside of your house by turning it into a scaffold. This is a safer way to paint your house verses using an extension ladder. You can cover more area without having to go up and down a ladder which means less chance of falling.
