No one ever wants to have a bloated face. It makes the head look like a Halloween pumpkin. The puffy face and chubby cheeks will make you self-conscious about your appearance and will take the glory away from any other attractive parts in the body. This means that when you meet a person for the first time, your whole concentration will be on your swollen face rather than your other perfect body parts. The first thing you will need to do is to avoid consuming foods with excess salt. Salt in food retain too much water and results in the bloating of the face. Eating too salty food will cause you to feel thirsty due to dehydration and your face will swell as soon as the next day. It is wiser to prepare your own food to manage the amount of salt you take. Alcohol is another facial fattening culprit that you have to minimize. Alcohol not only makes your belly bigger, it also makes your face swollen because it dehydrates the body and has high calorie content.

A proper facial fitness plan should include physical activity especially those targeted at the face. Other than this, you have to eat foods that are rich in nutrients like proteins, vitamins and fibers. Avoid fatty foods or foods made of processed carbohydrates because these will go directly to storage and will result in fat deposits. Get involved in workouts like cardio, aerobic and weight training because one way of losing fats deposited on the face is to burn up the fats in the whole body through physical exercise. Remember that drinking lots of water will also go a long way to improve your fitness.
